Annie Mae Irby

Mrs. Annie Mae Irby, 74, of Spartanburg SC, entered into eternal rest on Monday, December 3, 2018 at home with her family by her side.  She was born January 4, 1944 in Welford, SC to the late John and Katie Lee.  She was a domestic worker, a member of the Spartanburg Terrace Tenants Association and member of Mount Moriah Baptist Church.   

Mrs. Irby was preceded in death by her brothers Wilford Lee, Lewis Lee and Thomas Lee; sister, Shirley Lee; and grandchildren, Tennile Williams and Toney Ray Irby, Jr.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her husband, Thomas Irby; four daughters, Beverly Anita Irby of Miami Florida, Nadine Michelle Irby, Sarah Elizabeth Irby and Cynthia Denise Irby, all of Spartanburg, SC; three sons, Toney Ray Irby (Rhonda) of Fayetteville, GA, David Leon Irby (Kathy) of Myrtle Beach, SC and James Thomas Irby (Wanda) of Spartanburg; two sisters, Helen Ann Dean and Katheleen Wynn, both of Spartanburg, SC; a special God-daughter, Peggy Jarmon; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 1pm Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Mount Moriah Baptist Church.

The family is at the home located at 111 Pineneedle Drive, Apt. #A, Spartanburg, SC.
