Ms. Mary Alberta Ancrum, 71, wife of the late Johnny P. Ancrum, Sr., of Union, SC folded her earthly tent August 16, 2019 in Spartanburg, SC. Born February 5, 1948 in Union, SC, she was the daughter of the late Albert Coleman and late Mary Magdalene Wright Coleman. Mary was a graduate of Sims High School Class of 1966. She loved to watch westerns and loved children. A praying lady, she was a member of Mt. Rowell Baptist Church in Union, SC.
She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories: one son, Johnny P. Ancrum, Jr. of Hampton, GA; two brothers, Vernon Bruce Coleman of Spartanburg and Reginald (Sharon) Shelton of Jonesville, SC; one grandson, Deandre Perry of Smyrna, GA; two brother-in-laws, Reverend Allen (Bobbie) Ancrum of Batesville, SC and Joseph (Ruth) Ancrum of Orangeburg, SC; two sister-in-laws, Ethel (John) McNeil of Brooklyn, NY and Linda (Albert) Rhodes of Orangeburg, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
