Robert William Hamler

Mr. Robert William Hamler, 72, of Spartanburg, SC entered eternal rest Tuesday, April 13, 2021 at Spartanburg Medical Center.  A native of Spartanburg, SC, he was the son of the late William David Hamler and Willie Fleming Hamler. He was a brick mason by trade and many knew him as a great boxer. 

In addition to his parents, Robert was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Amber Hamler.

Robert leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to his wife of 54 years, Rumaine Hamler, of the home; three loving children, Robert (Angela) Hamler Jr., Sharon Hall (Byron) McBeth and David Putman, all of Spartanburg, SC; two sisters, Shirley (Jasper) Wofford of Moore, SC and Candace Jackson of Spartanburg, SC; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; other loving relatives; and dear friends. 

The family is receiving friends at the home located at 123 Oakview Drive, Apt F, Spartanburg, SC and at his sister's home located at 121 Dove Hill Rd, Moore, SC 29369.
