Sherria Teresa Goodwin

Ms. Sherria Teresa Goodwin was born in Columbia, South Carolina on September 22, 1990 to Vanessa Lartman Lomax and Jerry Goodwin Sr. She was predeceased by her maternal grandparents, Robert and Elizabeth Lartman and her paternal grandparents, Robert and Rozena Goodwin Sr.

Sherria accepted Christ early in life.  She was a member of Hope Church of Carrollton, Georgia and she also attended Midway Baptist Church. Sherria graduated from Lakeside Preparatory High School, Carrollton Georgia in 2009.

Sherria was a very loving daughter, sister, aunt and cousin. She loved her family and others deeply and she prayed for their well-being everyday.  She enjoyed making others laugh and she seemed to always brighten up the room with her smile.  She was very outspoken and she was always honest.  Her passion in life was to become a famous singer and dancer. She had a passion for music and deeply loved Chris Brown, Rihanna and Aaliyah. To know Sherria was to love Sherria!

She leaves to cherish her memories her loving parents, Vanessa Lomax (William) of Carrollton, GA and Jerry Goodwin Sr (Sabrina) of South Carolina; one sister, Chanile Goodwin (Matt) of Georgia; two brothers, Christopher Goodwin Sr (Jocelyn) of Maryland and Jerry Goodwin Jr of Georgia; a step-sister, Tamika Jeffries; two step-brothers, William Lomax Jr and Shelton Stroman; ten uncles; ten aunts; twenty nieces and nephews that she loved dearly; a host of great uncles, great aunts, cousins and friends. 

Ms. Sherria Teresa Goodwin folded her earthly tent and entered into eternal rest on May 8, 2019. Sherria will be deeply and truly missed!
