Charles Ola (Gardner) Allen

Mrs. Charlesola Gardner Allen, 72, of Roebuck, SC passed away peacefully at her home with her husband by her side, March 13, 2019. She was born November 10, 1946 to Classye Mae Johnson Eckford and the late Charles Gardner in Florence City, Arkansas. 

She was preceded in death by one brother, Dewayne Eckford; and two sisters, Joanne Butler and Mary Louise Eckford.

Charlesola leaves to cherish loving and fond memories, her husband, Clarence Earnest Allen; one son, Clarence Earnest Allen, Jr.; five daughters, Constance Natashia (Martin) Goodwin of Paterson, NJ, Regina Allen Scott, Sheila Allen (William) Jemison, Gidget Hunter (Gary) Allen-Stokes and Theresa Michelle Allen; five brothers, Andrew (Rosa) Eckford of Richmond, VA, Wallace (Maxine) Eckford, Jr. of Paterson, NJ, Anthony Eckford of Mahway, NJ, Calvin Eckford of Savannah, GA and Barry Eckford of Newark, NJ; six sisters, Dorothy (Willie) Pearson of Spartanburg, SC, Elaine (Ronald) Meade and Frances Christian both of Richmond, VA, and Catherine Eckford, Linda Eckford and Shirley Warren all of San Diego, CA; twelve grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
