Clyde Fullenwider, Jr. passed away October 9, 2018 at Regional Hospice.
In loving memory of our father, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin, and friend, Mr. Clyde Fullenwider, Jr., AKA: (Foot, June Bug, Bug, Hog Head, Mr. Clyde), a man of many names with only one heart (heart of gold), widower of Louise S. Fullenwider. Born July 1, 1950, the son of the late Mrs. Lillie T. Fullenwider and Mr. Clyde Fullenwider, Sr. He is the grandson of the late Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Thompson and Mr. and Mrs. Lightening Fullenwider. He has one daughter, Delane (Alvin) Collins, of Atlanta Georgia; three stepchildren: Johnny, Michael Stephens and Willie Black; and several grands and great grands. His Loving and devoted fiance’ Ms. Beatrice Johnson. Recently, he shared his heart of gold with the family of Essie (Brian) Fair.
He was preceded in death by one Stepchild, Joyce (Ray) Mack and a sister, Gloria F. Houston.
He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories of three sisters: Lois F. Stripling, Inman, SC, Thelma (Pastor James) Smith, Boiling Springs, SC, Angela Wilkins, Greer, SC and one brother: Kelvin (Shameka) Wilkins of Spartanburg, SC. Also, he leaves and cherish eight aunts and four uncles.He will be deeply missed by a host of great and great-great nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
He attended Foster Grove High School. He was known for his love of creative drawing, cooking (especially wild meat), mechanical ability, carpentry, fishing, joking, storytelling about life and others, love for James Brown (dancing), and out running the Highway Patrol (cars and motorcycles).
Final Services Honoring the Life Journey of Clyde Fullenwider, Jr. will be 2PM Saturday, October 13, 2018 at Monks Grove Baptist Church. The body will be placed in the church one hour prior to service. Pastor Walter Davis will officiate.
The family is at their respective homes.
