Demitra Young-Harris

Ms. Demitra Young-Harris, 50, of Spartanburg, SC folded her earthly tent Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Spartanburg Regional Medical Center.  A native of Spartanburg, she was born July 12, 1969 to Bobby and Rebecca Prater Young. At an early age Demitra joined Golden Street Baptist Church, Spartanburg, SC and later became a member of New Life Deliverance Worship Center, Spartanburg, SC. She loved writing poetry and being a hair stylist.

Demitra leaves to cherish loving memories her parents; two sons, Joshua Harris of Atlanta, GA and Jordon Harris of Spartanburg, SC; one brother, Bobby Riser of Spartanburg, SC; two sisters, Virginia (Reginald) Foster and Renee (Derrick) Simon both of Spartanburg, SC; one grand-daughter, Serenity Harris of Atlanta; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
