Donald Brist Obituary

Mr. Donald Calvin Brist, 96, of Spartanburg, SC passed away November 8, 2019 at Spartanburg Medical Center Mary Black Campus. He was born in Kalispell, MT on September 29, 1923 to the late Benjamin Brist and Vada Arnold Brist. He was the husband of Mrs. Frances Brist and Minister for 40 years. His ministry, Gospel Meeting, reflected his heart to lead more to Christ. Donald enjoyed birdwatching, being a beekeeper, watchmaker and fisherman.

He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories: his wife, Francis of the home; his wonderful children, Benjamin Brist and Sara (Roy) Ellis of Spartanburg, SC; one brother, Herb Brist; three sisters, Dorothy Hoversland, Linda Brist and Leona Pipgras; three grandchildren, Raiden Brist, Olivia Ellis and Owen Ellis both of Spartanburg, SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Sacred arrangements have been entrusted to SERENITY-MURRAY MORTUARY.
