Elease "Rabbit" Brewton

Ms. Elease "Rabbit" Brewton, 66, of 208 Fisher Avenue, Spartanburg SC, entered into eternal rest on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare. Born March 12, 1952 in Spartanburg, SC, she was the daughter of the late Henry Douglas and Margaret McCoy Brewton. Ms. Brewton worked for over 30 years at Boots & Sonny's Restaurant. She enjoyed helping people in the community and was of Baptist Faith. 

Ms. Brewton was preceded in death by her brother, Roy McCoy and sister, Katie Sue Nelson.

Ms. Brewton leaves behind to cherish her memory, two daughters, Cynthia Yvette Brewton of the home and Teresa Annette Brewton (Robert Thompson) of Spartanburg; four brothers, Howard Brewton (Julia), James Brewton and Jermaine Brewton, all of Spartanburg, and Terry Brewton (Teresa) of Fairmont, SC; three sisters, Betty L. Penn, Dorothy Duncan (Kevin) and Sylvia Chambers, all of Spartanburg; four grandchildren; one great grandchild; and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.

Viewing will be held, Friday, December 7, 2018 between 1pm - 7pm, at the Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held 1:30pm, Saturday, December 8, 2018 at Harvest House Ministries located at 163 Brewton Rd., Moore, SC 29369.  Final viewing will be held at the church, prior to service, at 12:30pm. Interment Services will immediately follow at Lincoln Memorial Gardens.

The family is at the home located at 208 Fisher Avenue, Spartanburg, SC.
