Gregory Wayne Gory

Mr. Gregory Wayne Gory, 57, of Forest City NC, folded his earthly tent on April 22, 2019.  He was born July 28, 1961 in Spartanburg, SC to George Gibson and the late Sarah Lee Gory. Gregory was a Chef and a member of Forest City First Seventh-day Adventist Church.

He was predeceased by his grandparents Ben and Nina Mae Gibson, and aunt, Fannie Louis Foster.

He leaves to cherish fond and loving memories his father of Spartanburg, SC; four brothers, Reggie Jackson of Boiling Springs, SC, Brian (Janet) Salters of Moore, SC, Tyheim Miller and Tyron Bobo both of Spartanburg, SC; ain’t, Sandra (Dewey) Rookard of Spartanburg, SC; three uncles, Ben (Earnestine) Gibson, Donald (Shirley) Gibson and Charles Gibson, all of Spartanburg SC; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. 

Funeral service will be held at 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at Serenity-Murray Mortuary Chapel, 930 Chesnee Hwy, Spartanburg SC 29303. Pastor, E.J. Mendinghall will be Officiating. The family will assemble at the funeral home at 1:45 P.M.

Viewing will be held on Tuesday, May 14, 2019 from 1:00 P.M. until 5:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
