Joseph Edward LeGette Sr

Mr. Joseph E. LeGette, Sr passed away January 29, 2019. He was born March 14, 1949 in Moncks Corner, SC to the late Neal LeGette and Nellie Harmon LeGette.

Down all the highways that he traveled, blacktop, stone and even gravel; on every journey through and through, “Carolina Railroad Man” is now riding the highways of Heaven and God’s Angels are with him too. 

Joseph LeGette leaves to cherish his precious memories two sons, Joseph E. LeGette Jr (Lara) of Fountain Inn, SC and Lamar E. LeGette of Taylors, SC; two daughters, Debbie Nesbitt LeGette of Ridgeville, SC and Denise Marie Ritchie of Moncks Corner, SC; one brother, Neal Dixon LeGette of Fountain Inn, SC; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, love ones and fellow truckers. 

Funeral Service will be held Monday, February 4, 2019 at 12:00 PM at Salem Baptist Church, located at 321 Old Summerville Road, Summerville, SC. Pastor Robert Rivers will be Officiating. Final viewing and visitation will be held at the church at 11:30 AM - 12:00 PM, prior to the funeral service.
