Marsha Michelle Hicks

Ms. Marsha Michelle Hicks, 39, of Weaver, AL passed away December 21, 2019 at Atlanta Medical Center. She was born in Atlanta, Georgia on December 12,1980 at Grady Memorial Hospital to Roberta Thomas and Ronald Holcomb.

Marsha accepted Christ early in her life.  She attended Cedar Grove High School in Decatur, Georgia.  Marsha was a very loving daughter, sister, aunt, niece and cousin. She loved her family and others deeply. She seemed to always enjoy making people laugh. Her passions in life were cooking, gardening and taking care of animals. She always knew how to brighten up a room with her presence and her smile. Marsha was very outspoken and loved life.  She was deeply loved and will truly be missed by all.

Maraha was preceded in death by her grandmother, Elizabeth Henderson.

She leaves to cherish fond and loving memories: Her mother Roberta Thomas (Danny) of Weaver, Alabama; her father Ronald Holcomb of Atlanta, Georgia; her brother Corey Hicks of Saks, Alabama; Her one and only niece Syrentiee Hicks; her great-aunt Linda Hamilton( Otis) of Killeen, Texas; her uncle Billy Hicks of Anniston, Alabama; her aunt Mary “BooBoo” Lartman (Rodney) of Atlanta, Georgia; her uncle Leon “Junebug” Henderson of Atlanta, Georgia; a host of cousins, Jermichael, Taurean, Anthoni, Undra, Alexis, and Tykiara; her loving Fiancé Jimoh Aliyu of Atlanta, Georgia; her sister-friend Amber Maxwell( Kendrick) of Decatur, Georgia; and other relatives and friends.
