Beaulah Octavia Williams

Ms. Beaulah Octavia Williams, 91, widow of the late Mr. John Arthur Williams of Spartanburg, SC, peacefully entered into eternal rest at her home Thursday, December 17, 2020 surrounded by family.  Affectionally known to many as Octavia, she was born on September 18, 1929 and was the daughter of the late William Precious Owens and Beaulah Octavia Owens. She was a loving person and involved in social services. She was also a former foster parent. 

In addition to her husband and parents, Octavia was preceded in death by her oldest son, John Earle Williams; two brothers, Wilbert Owens and Ulysses Owens; and three sisters, Alice Booker, Sarah Pauline Cannon, and Ruth Suber. 

Octavia leaves to cherish fond and loving memories to: Two sons, David Lee Williams and Robert Keith Williams, both of Spartanburg, SC; three daughters, Mattie P. Kennedy, Delores Anita (David) Bishop and M. Theressa Franklin, all of Spartanburg, SC; one brother, Roosevelt (Gail) Owens; three sisters, Josephine (Frank) Fuller; Carrie Bullock, Nellie Ballenger and Clara Brannon; sixty-two grandchildren and forty great-grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; and other loving relatives and dear friends.
