Mr. Marlon Reggie Jackson, 46, of Spartanburg, SC went home to be with the Lord on Monday evening of January 18, 2021, at Spartanburg Regional Hospital. He was born January 19, 1974 in Spartanburg County. He was the son of Rose Jackson and the late Richard Jackson. At an early age, Marlon joined Smith Chapel Baptist Church in Campobello, SC and was a former member of New Faith International, where he served as a Trustee. He was a current member at New Testament Baptist Church. He was also a traveling missionary worker to a host of churches. Marlon was a graduate of Spartanburg High School and a former employee of Windsor House and White Oak Estate.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Michael and Kenneth Jackson.
Marlon leaves to cherish his loving and fond memories to: His mother, Rose of the home; one brother, Minister Terance (Erica) Jackson; one sister, Andrea (Russell) Kerns; godsister, Shamia Johnson; godparent, Ralph McIntrye; sister-in-law, Mrs. Denise Jackson; a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, other loving relatives; and dear friends.
Marlon is now resting in the arms of a loving and merciful God. His favorite words, “You a Mess” will forever echo in our spirits.
