Roger Lee “Frogman” Dawkins

Mr. Roger Lee “Frogman” Dawkins, 57, of Gaffney, SC folded his earthly tent March 5, 2020. He was born March 20, 1962 to Nellie Lee Dawkins and the late Arthur Lee Rodgers in Union County, SC.  He served in the United States Army and was a volunteer with Helping Hands at Limestone Missionary Church. Roger enjoyed dancing and had a love for horses. He loved riding horses and had a heart for kids.

Roger leaves to cherish fond and loving memories his mother of Spartanburg, SC; four sons, Juan Hunter and Damon Farr both of Union, SC, Timothy Dawkins of Gaffney, SC and David Dawkins of New Jersey; two daughters, Brandi (Daryl) Johnson of Spartanburg, SC and Angelica Farr of Union, SC; three brothers, Danny Rodgers and Michael Rodgers both of Pennsylvania, and Christopher (Dianne) Dawkins of Gaffney, SC; two sisters, Ann (Frankie Hardy) Dawkins of Gaffney and Elisea Rodgers of New Jersey; sixteen grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

The family is at the home of his mother at 238 W. Wood Street, Spartanburg, SC.

Sacred arrangements have been entrusted to Serenity-Murray Mortuary.
